Well respected Queensland photographer, Dan Costello, is the only new face on the Redcliffe Harness Racing Club’s Board.

Costello was voted onto the six-strong Board at the RHRC’s AGM at the Paceway last night (Tuesday December 12). The meeting was ironically held on the 57th birthday of Club President, Bernie Ring, who is in his 10th and final year at the helm after serving 17 years on the Board.

He said Costello was the only new face on the Board, which had five nominations for three positions.

“Five doesn’t go into three, and unfortunately Aileen Smith and Andrew Crisan didn’t make the cut this time. We welcome Dan as a first time committee man. His knowledge and experience will be valuable for us.

“I want to thank those people who were nominated for positions on the new RHRC committee. The team for the next 12 months is myself (President), Mark McNee (Vice President), Reg Vidler (Treasurer), Doug Spice, Daryl Kerr, and Dan Costello.
